Directions

Conventional oven: preheat oven to 325f. remove beef from wrapper. Place beef in shallow roasting pan. Bake until inserted meat thermometer into thickest portion of meat registers 155f for medium doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Meat temperature will rise 5 to 10 degrees after removal from oven. For filet pieces (5 to 8 oz) bake 35-40 minutes, grill 15-20 minutes; for filet pieces (8 top 12 oz) bake 50-60 minutes, grill 30-35 minutes.
